I probably should have had Mario switched fonts for this, just to show him ‘getting serious’, but the idea occurred to me just now anyway. Mario’s font is an artifact from the early days of the comic, where I was planning on giving different characters different fonts until I realized that was way too cumbersome. The only fonts that survived, aside from Digitalstrip are Calligrapher (for Sovereign and spell chants), RetroArch (For alex’s antagonist in the future), Mario’s, and Monkeyspanks.

Anyway, will try to get another couple out this year. Thinking of doing a Christmas special as well.
