#683 Failing Fantasy II

Plot inconsistences with the original Final Fantasy? Pshaw! Don’t be absurd. Those are plot N-HANCEMENTS!

Also, for your enjoyment, the synopsis for the episode that exists only in my head.

The Song of Princess Sara (Season 4, Episode 3)

Lana, Kevin, Duke and Kid Icarus are on a diplomatic visit to the world ofFinal Fantasy and return the Light Crystal they had taken from the darkelf Astos to its rightful world. However, the day after they arrive, Kid Icarus is accused of stealing Princess Sara’s most sacred artifact, the flute of time!
As his friends rush to prove his innocence, King Hippo and Eggplant Wizard move to gather the four crystals, so that the evil knight Garland can transform into the all powerful Chaos.

Our heroes prove that Kid Icarus was framed, and that the forces of evil are behind this, but it’s too late! Garland has transformed and has begun destroying the kingdom. Princess Sara tries to use the Light Crystal to stop Chaos, but crystal doesn’t affect him.

Thankfully, Captain N remembers a secret warp that the flute can open, and Sara uses its power to send them 2000 years back in time. There they meet the sage dragon Bahamut who promises to unlock the power of the crystal after they complete his trial. After succeeding, he reveals that overcoming the trials has proved they can work together, and thus unlocked the true source of the crystal’s power: Friendship!

Travelling forward in time again, our heroes defeat Chaos, and peace returns to the world of Final Fantasy. Princess Sara promises everlasting friendship between herself and the Palace of Power.
